I'm 5'3" and I just want to fit into my pants again

Hi guys! I'm just now finding my way back to MFP. I lost 20 lbs using this website a few years ago and put about half of that back on by being lazy and eating whatever I want. My friends insist that I look good but my pants just don't fit anymore so they obviously don't understand what it's like when I try to put on tight jeans after drying them lol. I'm around 134 lbs right now but I'm trying to get back down to the 122-125 range. Anyone else in a similar situation? If so, add me! I need people to keep me accountable and I promise I'll be super encouraging when you post too ;)

I can pretty much bet that every single person on here has a favourite pair of pants / jeans tucked away in the back of some closet that they can no longer fit into. All determined to once again fit into them!

Great Post! I have a whole stack of pants in the closet that are just waiting for me to fit back into. That is when weight loss and fitness get fun... when clothes start fitting better!

I have a whole closet of those, I finally made the decision (resolution) that I'll either fit in them by next summer or donate them to Goodwill.

You sound just like me. I lost over 30 lbs. I was in my skinny pants. But now I going from my medium girl pants into my big girl pants again and are panicking. I'm ready to scream. I feel like Jimmy Fallon and Wil Ferrell doing the tight pant song. If you didnt see it google it. Hilarious.
  • I understand how you feel. I'm 5'1" and my body fat is 26%. When you are short even a little weight gain makes a big difference. I've got some things that I'm holding onto and some that I've just given up on.

5'2 and used MFP before to lose 30 but became complacent. Looking to get comfortable in my clothes again. Always excited to meet new MFPals. Feel free to add me!
    :drinker:

    Cheers!
