Save the date! - I am officially marrying my Polar FT7!
(And my fitbit will be my best man)
Maybe you might think that this belongs in the "chit-chat" threads, but let me explain.
I was doing my gym stuff laundry (an every other day event now) and I saw something strange in the washer after it was done. My worst fears were realized when I started pulling soggy clothes to throw in the dryer and saw my HRM strap in my hand. I immediately thought:
Oh Crap! - Where is the watch?!?!
It was at the bottom completely soaked.
After much wailing and gnashing of teeth and screaming at the universe.... something caught the corner of my eye... it was still alive! I put on strap reset the watch and went running for 20 minutes. I was so elated that I kept running and I actually ran a 5K straight without stopping with an Average Heart Rate of 148! It took me a long time (48 minutes) but I never stopped! :drinker:
THAT is why I am marrying my Polar FT7!
My "bride" will be given away by her venerable father (an Atari Pong Console, and her maid of honor is an iPod Nano. My dad, (an Eighties boombox) said he was really proud of me and started to spontaneously play "I like big butts" by Sir Mixalot. The only "downer" was her bitter spinster sister ( a Palm Pilot III).
Well that was not the only thing... someone said something really snide about what the children would look like!
Remember Technology is awesome, but at the end of the day it takes a "human" with will, discipline, and determination to get things done!
Go for it people! - Slow and Steady! :drinker:

@chmtastic - I am sort of embarrassed, but because of financial concerns we have to move in with her parents for a while. It is going to be tight quarters because they live on a 4x6 printed circuit board! When I see this title it reminds me of my 9 year old...every single time I say I love something he says "then why don't you marry it!"
@triciabh1 - Now that is funnier than anything I could have thought of... kids say the funniest things!
