New Here!

Hi all!

I'm new to MFP. I just started a routine of eating healthier and exercising. I've been on my ideal weight almost my entire life but now that I've hit the mid 30's it's getting a little bit harder to shed the pounds. I started some meds for insomnia a few months ago and I've noticed that it has made me gain weight ( which is one of the side effects) when I mean weight gain I mean Like 30 lbs! So today is my first day off the meds (yay for me) but I'm just looking for some support because I know that as soon as I don't see the pounds shed I'll probably get discouraged. I do 1 hour of zumba 6 times a week, eat healthy and drink plenty of water.
If I can get some partners to motivate each other I would appreciate it

  • hi i just started again to day i give up to easy last time so im back to try to lose weight. im looking to lose weight fast this time because im going no holiday in 2 months so i really want to look good in a bikini and keep the weight off after holiday so need all the help and advice i can get .

  • Absolutely! I will add you! I'm going to my Zumba right now for an hour. For breakfast I have coffee and a Light & fit yogurt. Just so you know! Thanx for writing!
