Panic At The Disco on Sunday. Not ashamed.

I love Panic! at the Disco! Most of the bands I like don't come here so when they do I jump on it. P!atD is on of those bands that I'll probably never get to see live. :/

I saw the Cure and Social D back in the day. I didn't even know if Social D was still together. The cool thing about DC is the smaller venues we have here so these bands are making appearances but then tickets sell out fast.

If by still together you mean Mike still runs the band then yep. All the original guys have left (or died) . Haven't seen the latest version of the band- saw every show they did up here from probably 1982 (the one documented in another state of mind) to 2007
I saw the Cure at a free show in Rome a few years back. first time I'd seen them since probably Pornography
We have some excellent smaller venues our issue is you have to cross borders to play here which has killed a lot of shows over the years because of the hassle for the small return of maybe 2 - 3 shows before you cross again (usually guys are back and forth across the border as they work east to west)
For a long while (say 76-84 or so) due to a couple of visionary promoters called the Garys we got bands and acts before they played NYC even in many cases we were the warm up town for them, Saw so many good bands thanks to them, and for a long time even after they got big guys would only play shows they booked as a pay back for the early support when the garys lost their shirts - ie the police to 20-24 people most of whom didn't pay to get in . can't stand the police myself but I like that they did several exclusive shows as payback which funded the bands i did like

Faster *****cat in Edinburgh last year, they were brilliant. Haven't had the cash to go to any gigs lately but I'm seeing a cool Kiss tribute band in a few days.

I think the text censor is a bit strict sometimes, lol. Faster Pus.sycat.

New Year's Day, William Control, and Combichrist at the TLA in Philly.

I went for Combichrist obv, but the other two had great stage presence, though their music was a little lacking.
