Too Much Sugar

I have been tracking my food daily and I notice that I keep going over my sugar allowance (according to MFP) of 24 grams. I know that some of this is from fruit. Does it matter where the sugar comes from? I've heard that there are "good sugars" and "bad sugars", but I am pretty sure sugar is sugar and my body is SLOW to burn it regardless of where it comes from.
I have already reduced my fruit intake to one serving daily and mainly drink water or drinks that are "sugar free". Any suggestions or recipes to help me reduce sugar intake?
Thanks, pals!

I don't worry about sugar from fruit. The fiber in fruit seems to tamp down on any cravings and hunger issues that other sources of sugar give me. Which is why I avoid foods with added sugar. They tend to make me hungry.
If you are diabetic, PCOS, or similar, then it might be good to ask your doctor about it.0 -
Thanks for tip. I missed fruit, so I will be glad to start eating it, guilt-free, again!0

24g of sugar is crazy low.
Unless you have a medical condition your better off tracking fiber versus sugar.
I eat close to 100g everyday.0
