How long would you think It would take me to 25-38lbs? For me I was hoping at least by the summer i'd be my mid goal which is

145ish but judging by the slow process i am making I may not be the size i want to be in that time period. What do you guys think,

how lond did it take you to get to your goal weight? Do you think my goals are realistic?

    I think it's realistic personally. But you must stick with it to reach your goal weight. If you safely loose 2 lbs. a week beginning this week until the 2nd week of June, you would be at 130 lbs. That's sounds like a motivator to me!

    You can do it! Set mini goals. Let's say you want to loose 40 lbs., let that first 10 be your first goal, etc.

    Most "experts" say a loss of 1 - 2 weeks is safest. So for 24 pounds, 12 weeks. That would be a big difference in 3 months.

    I have read some extreme diet plans that say you will drop more, at least at first. The book Ultra Metabolism has a 3 week reset your metabolism program and the author says most people will lose 6-12 pounds in that time. But is eliminates ALL sugar, gluten, dairy and requires purchasing less common foods such as amaranth. I need to get to a health food store to follow it!

    I am at similar and weight that you are. I have been doing this since Nov 1 and first weighed myself on my wii fit on Nov 20 and as of last Friday am down 10 pounds on that. So that was 10 pounds in 2 months. I am down 14-16 pounds overall since seeing doctor in september. Kind of depends on scale, time of day and what I am wearing!

    No one will really know how long. It depends on how hard you want it. I mean are you going to workout? How often? What would your diet be like? Alot goes into losing that type of weight
