Anyone live in south Louisiana? My husband and I moved here a few months ago, having some trouble meeting people with our crazy work schedules.

    Live? No, not anymore, unfortunately. But I was born and raised in and around New Orleans. What part are you in?

    You're in for a treat. Great town with very friendly people. If you haven't already, and if it's still there, try the Acadiana Catfish Shack on Johnston Street. It's a buffet of REAL Cajun cooking.....little more expensive than your run of the mill joint, but well worth it.
