Way too much protein, unless you are eating like 1200 calories a day. If you are that low, there's not enough fat (generally, going below 30g a day is not recommended).0

40/30/30 would be a better split0

I'm doing 50c 20p 30f and it's working well for me.0

It's good if you are doing a clean bulk with those ratios but it will be very hard to make those numbers. That's a lot of protein and protein usually carries fat along with it(In real food). I'm not counting supplements. I'm trying to do 40p/40f/20c. It's really tightening me up. I don't really watch my calories but at 150 to 160g of carb a day I hit around 3300 cals on average.0

thanks for your input guys, atm im aiming to lose 1 kg a week (about 2 pounds) so i am on a 1200 calorie a day meal plan. and i do agree the fats is a little low so i'm going to change it to 40p 30c 30f and see how that works out for me. thanks heaps!
ps. also i am using whey protein.0 -

Eat more food in general.0 -
That ratio is fine for about 2-6 weeks,(everyone is different) then most people will find they are bonking and need to change it up.0

I was doing 40c/30p/30f for a while, but noticed some intestinal issues. Now I'm doing 50c/20p/30f and it seems to be a good balance for me, digestive wise. It has slowed my progress a bit, but I feel a lot better. I may try going back to 40/30/30 if I can find a source of protein that I enjoy.
My cal intake is usually around 1,600 net to maintain. If I don't gain exercise cals for the day I am around 1,400.0 -
I lost the majority of my weight with a 50c 30p 20f macro, now im trying a 40c 35p 25f for recomp.0
