Can anyone recommend a good low calorie cook book please?

Hi can anyone recommend a good low calorie cook book, when I am doing my calories I sometimes eat separately to my family. I want good family meals which we can all enjoy together and that I can still control my calorie intake. I have seen some cook books online with ingredients I've never heard of just after a simple ingredient meals for us all to enjoy.

Thank you in advance

I got a good book a few years ago called Weight Watchers Cook Smart Family Food. That seemed pretty good, although most recipes insist upon that spray oil stuff. I'm in the UK though - don't know if that will make a difference. Good luck!

Not a book, but a website, but hey that means it is free! http://www.slimmingeats.com/blog/

It's based around slimming world recepies but also shows calories and other nutritional values per recipe.

I've done quite a few from here and they have all been very nice.

Are you in the UK? The two Hairy Bikers diet books are good - also good for family cooking as many of the recipes are good for "healthifying" family meals like lasagne and pies.

I agree, the Hairy Dieters books are great and the food tastes go good! Can;t get enough of the Chorizo Crusted Fish & Tabouleh recipes. There is also and old one called Cook yourself Thin. ENJOY!

It's worth trying your local library. Mine has a really good cookery book section.

America's Test Kitchen has a low-cal version of their standard cookbook that is quite good.

Sign up for their daily emails. The pictures are lovely! I use those recipes a lot.
A skinny taste cookbook is coming out in September. I'm thinking about it ...

The weight watchers power foods cookbook has some excellent recipes my family likes. You can get the book on amazon.

Also I have just discovered the skinny taste website. Another resource.

Eat, Shrink and be Merry is a good recipe book. Highly recommend skinnytaste.com as mentioned earlier.
