This maybe a silly question but I'm going to start the 30DS today, it's all available on YouTube now, I understand there are 3 levels, am I right in saying it would be 10 days on each level or is it a week for each level then something else, I can't find anywhere that tells you?

The 30 day shred is an awesome video! When I did it I was told to do 10 days on each level..personally that way didn't work for me. My upper body strength was terrible when I started so I had to change it up. I did level 1 for about a week with a day off then moved to level 2 for a few days. I would switch to level 1 for a couple days with heavier weights then go to back to level 2. Then again with level 3. The video can get kinda old, but you will notice a difference after. If you look it up Jillian said she didn't intend for people to do it 30 days in a row and to take a rest day each week. Ripped in 30 is great too if you havn't done that one.0

I believe that in an interview Jillian Michaels actually said that it wasn't designed to be done every day, that you were supposed to mix it in with other exercise.
However most people I know who have done 30DS have done it every day with 10 days at each level. Or moving to the next level when they feel ready and continuing for 30 days.
Do whatever you feel comfortable with. For someone who has not really exercised before it will leave you aching, especially after a couple of days on the run. But if you already do a fair bit of exercise you may be absolutely fine doing it every day.
Whatever suits you best really, and good luck with it! I have just started lifting weights at the gym but before this used to use 30DS a few times a week as I enjoyed it.0 -
thank you for that, I have no fitness level so I'm starting from scratch, I can't wait to start, thank you.0
