Hi I am new to MFP and being this careful of what I eat.
I always ate well but never kept record of what I did.
Can you take a look at my diary and tell me what I ate so far today is okay to loose weight?
Stats: 5'4, female, 148lbs. Want to loose a lb a week.
I workout 5-6 days a week, cardio and weigh training along with classes at the gym.
Also are my net calories high enough? Thank you!

First off: Welcome!
So far so good! Your macros look good, lots of protein. The only thing I might add is to consider eating back 25-50% of your exercise calories to make sure your body doesn't think its getting too little calories and start holding onto them. There are a lot of people that eat TDEE (there's a lot of discussions on this so I won't get into the details). Try what you're doing for 2 weeks, then re-evaluate. Tweak as necessary.
PS - our stats are very similar at the moment, feel free to add me as a friend so you can see my food diary.
Good luck!!0 -
Looks near-damn-perfect to me.
Dont forget lots of water!

Can I just say how refreshing it is to hear someone say "Am I eating enough to lose weight".
With that attitude, you are going to succeed and keep it off0 -

Thanks for the advice!
So I should have more calories for today to eat back what I worked off? It says here I have 466 calories left for the day.0 -
Welcome!
I would make one suggestion. Instead of listing measurements (a half cup), actually weigh the items. Weigh solids and measure liquids.
Here is some good reading:

I would tend to eat back half the calories, mostly because I needed it to repair and refuel to have enough calories for my next workout. See how you feel, if you're hungry then eat, if you're not gauge how you feel the next day. Its all about calories in vs calories out.
I also agree with Booda101 about weighing your food though, very good suggestion and gives you a more accurate snapshot of what you actually ate.0
