A little scared, help?

I'm just wondering if anyone has run into the same problem as me suddenly.
I'm 5'4, 130 pounds. I've always been eating around 2000-2500 calories a day (mix of healthy and junk), but I really wanted to get down below 110 pounds. I've been exercising 6 days a week and trying to eat approx 1500 calories (without eating the calories burned off during exercise). I've been doing this on and off for a year due to a variety of reasons (mainly inability to stop myself at the sight of ice cream), although I have never stopped exercising so I was at 127-128 pounds as of last week.
Here's where the story gets kinda funky. I bought a cereal that was on sale called shredded wheats: 0 grams of sugar and a ridiculous amount of fibre. I ate half a cup for breakfast and half a cup of organic soymilk. Around noon my stomach became really distended and uncomfortable. Then I just lost my appetite. Having forgotten about the food log, I've just been going about my daily business. The next morning I lost 1.2 pounds. I thought it was water weight, so I ignored it. Just in case, i went back to keeping track of my food and also weighed myself the day after that. I lost 1.6 pounds. It's been 4 days and now I'm at 122 pounds. I've been eating at 800 calories (I really can't stuff anymore down) and exercising about 500 calories off daily (although i only log half my time because I take rests in between) I still don't have my appetite back, and even though the original stomach pain went away, it comes back every time I eat a normal portion of food (it's fine if I eat a tiny portion).
Did I accidentally kill my stomach somehow? It was completely fine until that high fibre cereal, and now it hurts to eat. The weight loss is wonderful, and at this rate I'm looking at losing 10 pounds a week (which is scaring me because it used to be so difficult before).

Has anyone else had a large intake of fibre like this? Should I keep going with what I'm doing (i haven't eaten the cereal since except for a few grains here and there) or should I keep eating the cereal and accept the fast-paced weight loss?0 -
1: Go to the doctor.
2: You are going to hurt yourself eating so little.
3: wtf.0 -
I actually can't go to my doctor until august 9th (I'm canadian but in the states atm). Maybe I should wait it out?0

Drink lots (maybe a gallon?) of water to flush out the fiber....you cant "kill" your stomach. If you eat too much fiber and not enough water it can get backed up. As for the loss of appetite, unlikely it was the cereal...if you traveling it may be life issues.0

It's only been 4 days...and I was eating at 2000 calories a day before then.
I'm here on vacation so I'm less stressed/anxious if anything. I'll try drinking the water, but that usually makes me have a smaller appetite.
Okay, well thanks for the replies anyway, good to know my stomach isn't dead xD0 -
If you are not used to the fiber you can get gassy and bloated. It should have given you a good pooh. If you haven't had a good one drink extra water to flush it out. Eating lots of fiber is very good for you. Keep it up if you liked the cereal. It definitely can't hurt your stomach.0

oh! Maybe this. I've been having rather frequent bowel movements, although not diarrhea-like in nature.
Thanks a bunch for the reassurance. I shall dub it the amazing weight-loss cereal xD0 -

This could be part of what's attributing to your current weight loss.
Were you this regular beforehand?
I remember a few years ago I had really bad anxiety. I still ate the same amount, but it made me go to the bathroom like crazy and I ended up losing about 8 pounds over the course of about two months.
If we're backed up at all it can really add on.0 -

Haha, no I wasn't backed up. I was pretty regular, but now it's easily 2-3 times a day @__@0 -

Right, that's what I'm saying. Even if you went to the bathroom once a day, you could still have remaining waste that needed to come out. So if you've increased the amount of times that you're going to the bathroom and dispelling that waste, your weight would drop.0 -
I am not regular in that I don't go every day. When I do go, it's usually about three times in one day. Now I get very excited because I know all of that has been masking any weight loss. It's a sad life trying to lose weight and gettin' happy about your poops! :blushing:0

Fiber helps curve appetite, just stay away from fiber for awhile unless you're alright with keeping losing this weight. Try to at least reach 1000 calories though, your brain will thank you.0
