Muscle fatigue in hot weather

I was wondering if this happens to anyone else. I've always been this way, but previously put it down to 'I'm too lazy/unfit'. In summer, in the heatweaves, my muscles all feel SO tired. Over the past few months I've been doing strength training (fun!) and jogging (horrendous). But for a week or two I've just not been able to. It's been too hot and I've felt awful. My husband thought I was overtraining at first because I've been trying to do as much weight/sets/etc as he does, but then I remembered this has happened in previous years, so maybe it's not. What do you think?
Edit - and I mean, walking up the stairs is difficult. No, it isn't usually.

Sounds somewhat reasonable. Have you tried upping your water intake? I know the hubbs has to drink a lot more water when it is hot than when it is not.... though I am still waiting for summer to get here on Oakland at this point.0

I agree - my body feels bloated and tired in the heat - not to mention living in an apartment with NO AIR CONDITIONING is painful! I fully agree that the heat brings about tiredness / laziness. It is hard to be motivated to do anything but sit by a fan. Thank-goodness most gyms are air conditioned.0

I feel it, especially being older now. This year I cut my outdoor afternoon workouts in half and found myself skipping days. I KNOW I should adjust the time I workout, but I haven't. When I do workout I see increased HR's and quicker fatigue.
Now, in AZ we have been in the 110 range lately, so I do 'ok' up to around 100 degrees.0 -
Are you outside a lot? The sun/heat drains you [serious]0

Yeah, I do drink more, it doesn't seem to help though I do try to avoid going outdoors (unless I'm jogging, of course), bright sunlight gives me massive headaches anyway.
Air conditioned gym sounds lovely... sadly, I'm too poor to afford a membership - we use my brother-in-law's weights in our bedroom, which has a fan but is still far too hot.0 -

Do you take vitamins and magnesium and potassium, do you use protein powder to recovery? it might be the missing of those0
