What to eat when you feel sick?

My stomach hurts! Feel too sick to work out today and I need to eat something...what can I have that wont make me feel sick?

    what kind of sick? pukie sick? Saltine crackers, chicken noodle soup (homemade is best), FLAT sprite (shake it up, loosen the top; repeat a few times to let some of the carbonation out)

    This is from a mom, not from a diet stand-point :smile:

  • Sick like upset stomach. Thanks for the reply. I'm not really worried about the calories because I haven't had much to eat and I'm WAY under my calories for today.

    Just got over the stomache flu too. For a week all I ate was gingerale, plain toast, applesauce, and bananas.

    Hope you feel better, it sucked.

    Unsalted soda crackers.
    They help your tummy feel better.
    Chicken Noodle soup can help as well.
    A bowl of cooked rice.


    It's not just for when you have a cold:)
    But if your not feeling well enough to eat anything today.
    Keep yourself hydrated. Drink water or a warm cup of tea.
    Flat ginger ale is also a known to help you feel better

    For tummy troubles it's best to stay with bland foods. Toast, saltine crackers, bananas, ...Hope you feel better!

  • Thanks guys!! :) I ended up having a big cup of tea and I managed to force down 1/2 a bagel.:bigsmile:
