I'm looking for diet buddies!

I'm Carolyn! I'm 22 years old, 5'2", and 145 pounds. I've fluctuated a bit, but I'm about the same size I've always been since middle school now (US size 8). A couple of years ago, I lost 15 pounds with cutting calories and kept it off for about a year. Then I got really mad because I was always hungry and I went off the deep end and gained it all back. I have some really cute size 6 clothes form that time that I want to fit into, so I am giving it another go. This time around, I'm trying to actually eat healthier than I previously did (although I still may not be perfect). I'm also trying to eat a better variety of foods and find foods that will actually fill me up. I used to eat 1200 calories for about a pound a week weight loss. To combat hunger and be more realistic, I'm trying to lose half a pound every week, and MFP gave me the goal of 1480 calories per day. I'm totally excited by the fact that I decided to start a food diary yesterday, before I thought of joining MFP, and I ate 1458 calories yesterday. The fact that I was able to do that yesterday makes me excited and hopeful for today and the coming days!

you can add me, im on a bit higher of a cal intake but im also alot bigger than you. 1400 isnt too bad i seem to stay pretty full on that. I am also excercising every day which allows me to eat a little more if i want. I recently bought a treadmill for the basement and working on getting a full scale gym down there.0

Hi Carolyn and Matt,
I used MFP before...I lost the 1st time around 30-40 lbs...2nd time around, I wasn't able to stay on it long... Now, that my life is in order again...I am trying to work on it again...I been doing this 14 days straight and I have lost a total of 6 lbs...I am excited and I am always looking for work out buddies for that little extra encouragement...If you care too, you can add me...If not, that is cool and I wish you best of luck on your journey...

Hi Carolyn! I love meeting people who have similar goals as me. I'm 5'0" and twenty years old and I'm also trying to find that balance of eating healthy and being full. I have an open diary (or at least I think I do) so you can add me and maybe we can help each other out with recipes and motivation and such!0
