Hi everyone! My name is Karisa & I am 29 years old. I started eating well & working out in June. So far, I am down 24lbs. By Christmas, I am hoping to be at my "happy place". I really have no clue what this "happy place" even looks like but I suppose I'll just know when it happens. I'm looking for friends to add on MFP because I am pretty sure my friends/family get tired of hearing me talk about the gym and what great new snack I found. So, if you are looking for someone to keep you motivated (and vice versa) and chit chat with, send me a message!

    Karisa - I'm in. It has helped me SO MUCH to have people to check up on and know they are looking out for me. I'm Nicole 36, and restarting this journey with better fervor. Let's DO this.

    I started MFP at the end of April and have only lost 24 pounds. How did you loose 24 lbs in a month?

    Hi Tina! I completely changed my lifestyle and I think that is the main reason why I have lost weight. I went from eating complete and utter crap and drinking too often, to working out 5-6 days a week and making better choices.

    Hmm...favorite snacks? I know it sounds so cliche and lame but I snack on a piece of fruit or some unsweetened applesauce. Or if I am looking for something salty I will eat this popcorn called Boom Chicka Pop-it's lower in fat and the serving size is amazing! I also enjoy string cheese and hard boiled eggs.
