Annoying spammers!

Clogging up the boards with pointless points. Don't these people have anything better to do?
Anyone know how long it typically takes for the mods to delete the rubbish?

    I noticed that this morning. I am new to the boards so I wasn't sure if that was common or not? Super annoying.

    Early in the morning (east coast here, so say from 6AM-9AM) there are many spam posts and sometimes the mods are a little slow. The moderators are volunteers, so I imagine some times of day have better coverage than others.

    The spammers keep doing it because they get paid per post.

    I noticed that early this morning also. Reported at least three of them. Almost annoying as some of the trolls. Ha

    I think I have missed them! :) Will keep eyes peeled and will report any sneaky hobbitses!

    Please report spam and be patient, especially on the weekends. Most mods are volunteers and have lives outside of MFP just like others in the community.
    As soon as we see them, we get them and delete them trying to clear them as fast as we can.
