Am I Weird, Or Is This COMPLETELY Normal ?

I'm mostly outgoing... But sometimes I want to talk to someone (who I may never see again in my entire life). For me to say "hello", you actually have to force it out of me. I'm afraid I'll say it the wrong way, or stutter, or sound awkward. I'm that girl on the other side of the room, staring at you with a look on her face, and you know she wants to talk to you, that her brain can't communicate with her mouth makes everything awkward. By the time (if at all) she says something, it sounds forced.

Edited for wording errors.

I feel that I am the same in allot of ways. I have always been painfully shy and insecure. I'm the guy sitting at the bar alone who knows the bartender too well

I avoid people until I am required to go out for life sustaining requirements. Like food and a squat rack.

it's pretty normal i'd say. we are just human after all. we all have insecurities, fears, etc. if we let these dominate us though, we lose out on a lot in life. I've always been extremely shy and worried what others thought of me. the older I've gotten though? i really just don't care what other people think of me anymore lol it really doesn't matter what others think. you are you - you live with the things that happen in your daily life, routine, etc. in essence lol - just say hello.

I used to be the same way..... sometimes I'm still that way. But, for some reason, I think age (or maybe life experience) has been an equalizer for me. I still view myself that way, but others tell me I'm a great people person and very friendly. Go figure - something positive about getting older!
