I have kind of a combination of needs in a weightloss shake. I need it to be dairy grain and starch free. This means no wheat oats, pea, soy, rice, corn, or potato ingredients. I have pcos and hypothyroidism.

eating real food will make you more satisfied which means that you'll be more likely to make the lifestyle changed needed to lose weight AND maintain that loss

I'm not sure what you mean by weightloss shake. Any shake can be a weightloss shake if it fits in to your caloric allotment. If you are referring to a protein powder, I know Genuine Health makes a vegan powder that is also gluten free.

Maybe Hemp? Not really for weight loss but many nutrients. I use it as a source for protein and omega 3's. It is pretty earthy tasting tho and took me awhile to get used to drinking it!

Diet shakes and other meal replacements are a boon when you lack the time or motivation to shop for and prepare balanced meals. They also help when you just don't want to think too hard about what to eat to lose weight
