Soon to be 54 Y/O Female - Wanting to lose 20 lbs

Looking for some serious women in the same stage of life looking to lose 20 or so lbs. The last tough ones! Especially wanting to lose the fat around the mid-section. :flowerforyou:

    I am around same age, work at a desk job, with appropriately the same weight loss goal. (I want to lose 15 pounds). I have been working with a personal trainer and a nutritionist. This is their advice. (It's working slowly but surely).
    Weight training 3-4 times per week.

    Cardio 3-4 times a week (at least 30 minutes per session). Do intervals. It helps with weight loss.
    Balanced 1600-1700 Calories per day (40-30-30 diet plan) designed to help the body burn fat.
    I have recently embraced a Vegan diet (No meat, eggs or dairy).

    PS- I was at a weight loss plateau until I dropped that evening glass of wine. It is hard for the body (especially over 50 women) to dump body fat (especially the mid-section) if you are still consuming alcohol. Be patient and consistent.
