So this is the second time I've posted in the success boards. When I first began my journey, I was huge, unhealthy, and extremely unhappy. I was depressed all the time, never had any energy. My entire family had recently gone through a lifestyle change, and were all losing weight. My sister had lost 50 pounds when I saw her at thanksgiving of 2012 and she looked fantastic. I was jealous, and a little upset. I hated having my picture taken, but I stood beside her for a picture that my mom took and immediately regretted it. I barely fit in the picture, and I was standing next to my beautiful sister and I just looked horrible. I nearly cried going home that night. I was miserable for months, barely going anything. It wasn't until december of 2012 that I finally got up the courage to step on a scale to see how much I actually weighed.

365. three hundred and sixty five pounds.

That's the number that flashed on the scale. I was floored. I actually almost passed out. I couldn't believe it. I knew I was huge, but I never thought that big. That's when I realized that I had to do something, or I was going to end up dying at a young age.

That's when I decided I was going to follow in my family's foot steps. I was going to lose weight. And I have. since January 4th of 2013, a year and almost 8 months, I've lost 95 pounds. I have more strength and energy. My knees don't hurt anymore. I fit in pictures, and through doorways without turning sideways. I can run, and lift weights. I love to sweat, and go to the gym. I eat healthier meals, not fast food twice a day. I can stand on my feet for 8 hours a day and not feel like dying at the end of it. My back doesn't hurt anymore. It's amazing. I still have a long way to go, this is only my half way point. But I've come this far, and I'm not giving up now. not ever.
