Banish Fat Boost Metabolism

I started a "sixty day shred" of sorts, alternating BFBM with 30 DS. I can make it through the Shred (I die while I'm doing it, but I still finish) but I can't make it through more than a circuit on BFBM. Am I doing something wrong? Should I alternate the shred with something else?
Thanks!
Thanks!

It may be that you're body just isn't ready for something that's mostly cardio?
I think it really depends on your level of fitness/endurance.
I'm on my last days of 30 Day Shred (I did 10 of level 1, 10 of level 2 and am finishing up level 3 soon) and right now I'm watching BFBM on YouTube and I don't think I'd be able to complete a full circuit either... o.O Because I know I can't continuously keep doing cardio like that...my stamina is nowhere near where it should be.
That's why I love 30DS since it DOES have that cardio in there to blast your heart rate up, but it's got the strength section and the abs section as well which for me give me a bit of a break from the intensity of cardio (I'm very out of shape) while at the same time helping me to build up that strength/stamina that I desire.
Have you done a full round of 30 DS before? If not, maybe just stick with that (because you know you can get through it) for a while while you build up that endurance? Then add in cardio more and more as you feel more comfortable doing it? That way you're not risking hurting yourself by trying to do something your body can't handle.0 -
Banish Fat Boost Metabolism is a BEAST of a work out. When I first started it I couldn't finish it. But yesterday I did 30 Day Shred Level 3 Day 3 and then did BFBM afterwards and completed it. It just takes time to build up to it.
BTW my butt and hammies are crazy sore today so maybe don't do them back to back. So many regrets.0 -
This BFBM sounds crazy. I have the 30DS and have made it to Day 7, Level 1. I stopped because I got frustrated as I didn't feel like I was getting anywhere. I'm going to try 30DS again and get myself good enough on Level 1 to try Level 2, mainly out of curiosity!0

I've had this dvd for several years now, and I still throw it into my workout routine every so often to mix things up a bit! Even though
I am fitter now, this dvd has remained challenging. This is what I consider getting the best "bang for my buck". Best of Luck!0 -
I remember not liking this DVD when I first got it in my fitness journey but now I do. It is hard, although some circuits not as much as others. You can break them up, it has chapters which is nice., but no matter what, when you get 3/4 through, you're ready to say "done". ; )
I change some of the moves myself, no "rock star" jumps or anything too crazy for my knees but I'm grateful she does throw in some lower intensity moves to give you a break. I would do a segment or two to start, no need to do 40 minutes all at once and build up if you like it.0 -
Thanks guys! I may just wait to do it after the 30 DS. I'm on day two level one so hopefully my endurance is up by then!!0
