Should I be eating clean? or just cutting?

I started cutting my calories with another calorie tracker March 17, 2014 .... where I weighed 163 pounds ... here it is July 28, 2014 and I weigh 150 pounds. Now the scale does go up and down from 150 to 153 but I understand it does that. I am 5'6 (height)
Now, inches are falling more so than weight... I'm starting to see the prints in my stomach, my waist is getting tiny, pants are falling off... and my arms are slimming down... back fat is falling too. However, there's still some layer of fat on my stomach and back... but it's coming along.
Anyhow, I did this with just cutting calories to 1,370 calories a day... no clean eating that much and I do 45 min cardio 3 times a week. I eat things like Chicken most of the time, cereal, sausage, eggs, waffles, water, Gatorade and I even sneak 1 ice cream or cake once a week or sometimes once every two weeks. I stay within or below my calorie intake. I make sure I eat enough to avoid losing muscle mass though.
NOW... there is some stomach fat that is still hanging on... should I eat clean or continue with just cutting?

Just keep on doing what you're doing, its obviously working.
If you are not doing any resistance training I would start that though, it will help you 'tighten up'.
PS, there's really no such thing as 'clean eating'! Just eat mostly nutrient dense foods and stay in a caloric deficit.0 -
Cals in verse cals out. That is the math. Eating clean could help you with your health.0

Eat clean and get your body into ketosis, you will burn so much more fat! I don't know what your version of 'clean eating" is, but in my world it means no processed foods, meats should not be cured, and sugar intake is low.0

If you're losing weight by eating fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meat, whole grains and a minimum of processed foods, I think you're on the right track. Good luck in your progress.0
