What is your WHY? What are some of your struggles

I'm struggling with everyday life and exercise. I'm trying to make exercising my priority. I work night shift as a nurse and I try to get my workout in before I go to work. My health is important to me and so is my family. Every time I look at my daughter I know "MY WHY". What are some of your "WHY's" and what keeps you motivated and keep pushing towards your goals? What are your struggles?

I kinda feel the same way you do, I have 2 younger children, work overnight full time 4x week and then have to prepare for college to start back up. I guess my why changes everyday or I add another WHY to the mix. I say I miss all my family in England and make myself feel guilty that I am not with them, it was for other people and how they would view me, I feel thats why I never really stuck through it but once I started telling myself this was for ME and something I needed to do for my self, I became more motivated. I see how exercise helps me work out some of the stress in my life. My WHY is so I don't continue to repeat the same cycle and my kids begin to think it is okay. It's to be around for my kids and watch them grow and for me to prove to myself I can succeed in things and I don't need to contiue to quit when I feel it is getting hard. WHY, because I've got this, I have control over this, so no more excuses and feeling sorry for myself for being overweight, because I did this, so I will fix this and in the process I'm starting to become the person (mentally) that I needed to be0
