NSV: A first for me

NSV: I have logged my calories and been under goal for a week. This is a small thing, but it is a first for me. My food choices/options haven't always been the healthiest. I've been spending the last 4 days keeping watch while our Gram passes. Nevertheless, the "good" I feel when I keep on track is 10X compared to the "bad" I feel when I don't do well. I'm not going back there! Did you make poor choices yesterday? Today's a new day...make it GREAT!!

    That's really fantastic. You're doing the heart and soul of what it takes to be in good health. The media myth of eat all you want and the commercials that tell you to get that cinnamon pizza and Pepsi to wash down that pizza are a lie. That's not to say that you can't have these things but everything in moderation is just fine and dandy. Keeping track of what you're eating is 90% of the battle. You're winning this week. Well done.
