Hi guys
So last weekend I was prescribed some antibiotics and codine for an infection. after taking them for a couple of days I fell really I'll and had to go to a&e and they told me to bit take any codine because i reacted badly to it.
Since then I have been feeling very very bloated and just general a bit groggy and my stomach hurts. despite being on top of my food diary and eating only natural foods (the worst thing I've had is Rachel's organic flavoured yogurt) I'm still not losing any weight, I constantly feel bloated and today I even gained a pound this morning.
How can I detox? And is it possible that this side affect has affected my insides? Why do I feel so bloated and groggy all the time?
Thanks

You've been sick. It's natural to feel groggy and uncomfortable. On top of that, some medications can give passing bloat and discomfort. It will go away. You do not need to detox. (From what?)0

After taking antibiotics you can go buy some probiotics.0

Thanks! Just wondering how long it takes I guess. I still feel pretty gross after (almost) a week and the pound up is pretty discouraging..0

Weight fluctuates. You'll see a pound up here and there over time. If it's discouraging, think about how that attitude will not help you get to where you want to go.
Long term, what's a week?0
