Hello Everyone,
First off congrats on making the move to lose weight.
I started about 3 weeks ago and was able to knock off about 12 lbs. so far. I started in weighing 210 and recently weighed in at 198lbs. I am an ex-collegiate athlete in both Men's Hockey and lacrosse who let himself go after my nutritionist and trainers were off my back after graduation. I went to a strict diet consisting of 1500 or less calories for week one and two. I still play hockey twice a week but it was not enough to shed the weight I would like to so I have added a 1.5 mile run 4 times a week mixed in with weight training.
The one thing I noticed was that my meals started to get boring so I did some research and wanted to list some high protein low-fat foods that i have found to really please the pallete and fill me up.
Breakfast - Banquet Turkey Sausages, Pure protein Vanilla Creme Shake with 1 cup of Chobani strawberry yogurt mixed in.
Lunch/Dinner - Shaddy Hills Sweet Italian Turkey Sausages, Bison meatloaf mixed with onions and spinach (anything bison is amazing), 1/2 Turkey meat tacos, Baked Chicken breasts stuffed with brocolli, Swordfish, Haddock, Grilled Shrimp with Edamame.
Snacks - I only eat Blue Diamond Almonds. The habanero BBQ are my favorite. Hard Boiled eggs without the yoke dipped in hot sauce.
Let me know if you have any other ideas but these have all satisfied my hunger and the almonds are always delicious to snack on.
Hope this helps.
Ryan

Just take a full size chicken breast and slice a pocket into the thickest part of it. Take some frozen broccoli (Chop it into small pieces) and then stuff it into the pocket. I use frozen broccoli because it keeps the chicken moist on the inside as it defrosts in the oven. It almost steams the inside. If you have some extra calories to add you can add some grated cheese with your broccoli. Before you place in the oven just add some salt and pepper to the chicken and your done. Cook about 30 minutes at 325.0
