New to MFP, goals, habits ect.

Hello,

I am new to MFP. I started my real weight journey in 2011 after I tipped the scale at 236 lbs 2 days before I had my son. Today I am at 198 and my ultimate goal is 140, but I need to be 160 or less by October to meet weight standards for my job (I already failed once and 3 times and I'm done). I eat clean and started the Shape Reclaimed program. I also started my own organic garden to help cut the cost of buying real food.

Anybody have any good tips on gerdening at home, good recipes that use only meat and veggies and don't require added fat or have a success story with Shape Reclaimed?

Thanks!

I make a huge pot of chili that is mostly vegetables and beans and only one pound of beef or bison(when I can get it). It is basically the Eating Well 3-bean chili but I cook dried beans instead of using cans and add more veggies.
Congratulations on your loss so far. Gardening is a great way to get moving also. I tell people I use my garden mainly for exercise and the vegetables and herbs are just an added bonus.

That's a great idea! I love preparing meals ahead of time so we have healthy meals when we are in a hurry!
