Hello :)

I plan on starting working out tomorrow. My problem is every time I have tried either of the above challenges I hae given up. I gave up on shred due to it making me ache to much doing it everyday. I stopped squat due to not putting in effort and pure laziness. Now though, I have motivation and support and believe I can do this!

Anyway, my question is, can I do one day shred, one day squat for 60 days? My plan is to workout 5 days week so one week will be 2 days squat 3 days shred and the next would me 3 days squat 2 days shred. I also walk a lot, 3 times a day, 2 twenty minute walks and one 40 minute walk with my dog and son.

Thanks in advance :)

I'd do one or the other, you want something you can stick to and feel good about completing. If you're jumping around I think it'll be easier to give it up (60 days is a harder commitment than 30)

I think you should give up both and start lifting heavy.

There are a lot of squat moves in 30 day shred anyway. I'd pick one or the other and not do both at the same time, unless you have a little rascal you could get around in.

I tried the videos, used the boyfriends gym stuff, walked every other day and eventually I got lazy too!! I paid for a trainer and now my *kitten* is working it because it's safer (to get the squat techniques and stuff down), I have more confidence, and they know what the hell they're doing more than I did. Just my view on those videos...

start with 30 days shred only. Ease yourself into it. You dont want to jump in and do too much at once. All it will do is discourage you and you will give up like you have before.

Me personally, I do lift, BUT I know that for myself, I wouldve given up if I didnt ease in to my workouts. Started in January and did the bare minimum in the gym, 2-3 days a week. I hired a trainer, and kind of just went along with whatever he told me to do. It wasnt until I saw changes in my body that I started to get pumped up about working out. Today, I now workout 6 days week and I LOVE every minute of it. Trust me, the minute you see changes, going to the gym/exercising will be more fun because you know that you are working to get the body you want. 10% bodyfat gone for this gal and still going stong!! Good Luck! Feel free to add me for support.
