Whole grain pasta tossed with Sautéed garlic, broccoli, spinach, and a few chunks of tomato. I only use one teaspoon of olive oil, then add some of the starchy water I cooked the pasta in when i toss it all together. A little parmesan cheese mixed in before you take it off the heat so it melts & mixes all the way throughout the dish evenly. With a cup of broccoli & spinach, one serving of whole grain pasta (56g), one teaspoon olive oil & one tablespoon Parmesan cheese- it's about 315 calories & very filling. My go to recipe now days because it's cheap & easy. Just added some tomato for the first time tonight & it was good. Sometimes I toss in chick peas for extra protein & fiber.0

Spaghetti with meatballs and homeade bread...Ok I'll toss a salad too. Lean meatballs and homeade sauce that is pretty low calorie, so it works with the plan. The bread is for the hubby.0

I made a small salad (1 cup chopped lettuce, 1/4 c. chopped cucumber, 1 Tbsp. italian dressing) to go with a kielbasa and bean soup I had in the crockpot all day. The soup used Jennie-O turkey kielbasa and a 15 bean soup mix but I put my own seasonings in. (tomato puree, onion, garlic, lemon juice, chili powder, celery seed, parsley, can't remember what all else.) Turned out kind of bland but edible. Also, a slice of Heidelberg french peasant bread with a tsp. of butter. Salad and bread were the best part.0
