Ladies 100lbs+ to lose with thryroid issues- Success?

Just wondering how many ladies out there have found success with over a 100+ pounds to lose and thyroid issues.....things that worked best for you, type of foods, exercise etc. Want to hear your stories thx =)

    Not I but I know a lady who has lost weight. From what I understand from her, first thing is to get the thyroid issue under control with proper amounts of medication. She said it's really difficult to do anything else unless you've done that. Next step is diet and exercise. She watches everything she eats (brings her own lunch to potlucks even) and I know she walks a lot. From her appearance I think she lost about 40 lbs and kept it off. She's not sure. She wasn't using a scale.

    I've taken off 11 kg (about 24lbs) since October - it's slow going, and I'm kind of stalled at the moment. I'm going with a sort of casual low-carb approach, but keeping a diary seems to be what helps the most. And of course that's the one thing I'm usually not committed enough to do.
