I have a quick question: On my one off day a week I take a huge "nap" of almost 12 hours. (The rest of the week, sadly, I don't get nearly enough sleep and I end up exhausted.) Do I need as many calories that day? Or is hitting under the 1200 mark okay because I was basically bedridden for the time being?
Edit: I'm not really looking to hear how sleeping that much is unhealthy or anything of that nature. I listen to my body, and when I am exhausted, I don't force myself to stay up for no reason.

It sounds like you really need that rest . Nothing unhealthy about that.
If you are sleeping. you're not eating. Simple as that. Rest is good.
Keep up the good work while you're awake.0 -
Your body needs calories. You may want to take kelp!0

I think if your sleeping most the day you should be fine at 1200...calories are energy and if you not using energy why eat more calories than you have to on those days.0

If your sleep cycle is that erratic you should try and even it out. In order to be fit you need enough sleep. Calories are completely seperate from sleep, and I'd say the sleep issue is more pressing. Just keep eating the same, but maybe go to bed earlier during the week.0
