Best running app

What is the best running app you have found? I am currently using run double but the gps seems to be pretty rubbish and on my map of my route (which is always the same path just backwards and forwards) it goes very off course every now and then so am looking for a more accurate one.

I use Runkeeper, it seems pretty spot on.0

Try MAPMYRUN, my buddy says it's the best0

MapMyRun, Endomondo, Runkeeper, Digifit, and the rest all have their pros and cons. At their core, they are all very similiar with the main differences being in user interface and which other sites/apps they connect to.
If your GPS fix is all over the place on your current app ... it's probably the phone. How you carry it can degrade the accuracy of the device.0 -
If you have an iPhone, iSmoothRun is my absolute favorite. You can program it to track the mileage on your shoes, and you can program custom workouts. (For instance, I am currently in week 5 of C25K, and I have it programmed to tell me when to run/walk.) It also has interval coaching, and at the end of your workout, you can export it to MFP, FitBit, Facebook, and a number of other websites/devices. It's a little pricey ($4.99), but every couple months or so, you can get it for free.
I have found it to be more accurate than MapMyRun, and I highly recommend it!0 -
Runkeeper and Zombies Run (which you can hook up together!)0

Personally I find Strava to be most accurate, but to get the most from it the annual subscription is quite expensive.
Endomondo and Runkeeper have good GPS handling and solid social integration. Of the two I find Endomondo to be preferrable because the services on the website are strong.
MapMyFitness and Runtastic, I've tried and didn't like either. MMF I've found to be very unreliable, Runtastic eats battery power.
There are others, but those five are the most common.0 -
I have been using Endomondo while training for my upcoming half marathon and I've been very happy with it. I like that I can go online and plan a route beforehand because with running so many miles I like to change up where I am going so I don’t get bored.0

Strava is my fav.0

I use endomondo for the accurate gps and facebook integration, zombies, run! for entertainment, and one of those music/bpm apps that gives me music to match my desired pace (I can't remember which one, wish I could!)0

Another vote for RunKeeper here. My needs are pretty basic though so I'm not willing to pay actual USD for a running app. Also I can't claim to have done a full analysis of competing programs, but I like RunKeeper nonetheless.0

Runkeeper Rocks my World0

Favorite: iSmoothRun
Runner-up: zombies, run!
Honorable Mention: Runtastic0 -
Just to note I have my phone round hip as I heard it is the best place to put when using a running app that uses GPS0

Runtastic is great! Plus, it tracks other workouts too and syncs with my diary. I like Nike's running app more because it has auto-pause but I cant figure out how to link it with my diary on here.0

I liked Log Your Run. I use my Garmin watch now though. But also Charity Miles. Might as well earn a few bucks for my charity of choice while I'm running!0

Strava. Period. All other apps are toys.........0
