I am 26, 126 LBS, (124 on rare good days), 5'1" (medium-large frame?)woman who cannot go below 120! My ideal weight is 114 and my measurements are b36, w26, h29. I do about 15-30min HIIT workouts 3-4 days a week and have an calorie intake of 1300. I just changed it to 1200 yesterday so I am hoping this helps!
Anyone else out there with my measurements and same issues? Any advice is very much welcome! :flowerforyou:

if you have a medium/large frame, why do you think 114lbs is your ideal weight? Do you know what your percent body fat is?0
-
yes, it is 23%, which needs to come down.0

I want to look a bit lean, not wanting to much muscle definition-0

23% is pretty darn good for a woman.

I would consider at this point not paying much attention to the scale and focusing more on the mirror/selfies (naked or swimsuit). I would almost guarantee that you would benefit more my eating at maintenance or maybe 10% below and starting a heavy weight lifting regimen. It sounds as if yo uneed to build muscle more than lose weight to get the "look" you are after.
I'll guarrantee that you won't get bulky. But if you are using the mirror and start seeing too much muscle, back off a little.0 -

I agree with this guy.
23% is not high at all and is within the ideal range for a woman.0 -
I too am 5' 1" large frame. Much older than you, however. But why in the world do you want to be 114? If, as you say, you have a medium to large frame, you are fine even at 125. As of my weigh-in this morning, I was 125. I got down to 119 and felt that was too low and so I put on some weight. Frankly, I'd like to get back down to 120.
You don't want to get skinny. That's not healthy nor is it sexy. Now, when I was young, I was about 117 lbs and had a flat stomach and as close to perfect as a body can get. Had I weighed less, I would have been just skinny.
All I'm saying is think about why you want to be thinner. Has the doctor told you to lose weight?
If you want to lose weight, eat more fat and protein and you'll automatically take in fewer calories. Don't go hungry or your body will hold on to the fat.0 -
5'1 with a large frame and 119 lbs here. I eat 1430 net to lose about a half pound per week (about 1500-1800 per day). I recently added a maintenance day to slow that down as I'm transitioning into maintenance.
I agree that you need to increase the calories and lift if you want to lose inches. You'll likely be able to lose weight more efficiently also since your muscles will need extra calories while at rest to keep up with repairs.0 -
I am 5'0 and 122 I want to be 110-115 so I feel you... I have been stuck at 122 for awhile. I don't exactly care about the exact weight because I know the scale lies I just want to firm up and drop some fluff. Only you know your body and what weight is comfortable for your frame, other people can't judge only. I agree with the person who said look at pictures instead of the scale. I just started tracking again at 1300 a day feel free to add me0

You are right on upping the weights, it start today!0

Yes, exactly! I have wide hips (even when I was 108lbs in high school) so they make me look "fluffy! and I don't feel confident ANY fluff in my waist area since my hips are enough to meet my curvy, lean goal.0

Goldfinger88- I want to get down to 114 since I was that weight before and felt great! my muscle showed just enough to look lean but still had that womanly look to it, since my hips are wide, and for my frame and height, my bust too. The doctor last told me that I need to lose weight (1 yr ago when I weight 137) and I lost 20 lbs, which landed me at 117lbs but I gained 10lbs, which is where I am at right now (more or less).0

Definitely pick up weights then with a small surplus.
Overall what it will do is firm you up and make the body fat you have less noticeable. Many ladies here have put on pounds and gone down in dress sizes because of it.
And you won't have to worry about looking too muscular. Unless you are pumping yourself with enough steroids to make Hulk Hogan blush, you're not going to become a body builder. Gaining muscle is a difficult, long term process. That is why everyone suggests keeping as much of it as you can when losing weight.0
