27 year old male trying to win a bet

I'm a relatively fit, 260 lb, 6"5", 27 year old male. Thanks to some skipped workouts, a few alcohol-fueled late nights, and mom's home holiday cooking, I've put on a fair amount of weight over the last couple of months. Some friends of mine (that suffered the same fate) and I came together to formulate a friendly wager: We each have 16 weeks to change our workouts and/or diets to try and get the best looking abs/torso out of the 3 of us. Our thoughts were that even though there is only one "winner," we all get to benefit and, technicallly, win.
We're all pretty competitive guys, so it's gonna be a battle. I've only lost 4 pounds in week 2, but I am starting to see a noticeable difference in my body. I'm using MyFitnessPal to hold myself accountable so that I can put up a good showing. After the 16 weeks is up, I'm going to try and continue with my workout and eating schedules to try and make this a lifetime change instead of just a phase. :happy:
