I recently found that I was eating about 600cal below my BMR. I was eating 1430 and my BMR is about 2000. I have gained about 1lb everyday since I started eating at my BMR (only about 3 days ago). Am I experiencing actual weight gain or is this to be expected?

So this happens even if I am still 500 calories under my maintenance intake?0

Can I still lose weight if my glycogen stores aren't empty?0

OP you are gaining water weight. And if you are eating just your BMR calories then you are still eating too few calories. Here, read this as well:

WOW! This article answered every question I have been seeking answers for. Its a shame its not possible to lose more than a pound a week, but the last thing I want to do is harm my health. I am TOTALLY new to the dieting thing so this really helped.
So with this water weight, how long till i see a downward trend again?0
