1/2 way there, but feeling so horrible

I set out to first off get under 150, and I accomplished that. My full goal was to get to the mid 120's, and I am almost there. At 139 I only have a little ways to go, but I've started to plateau. Haven't lost over 4 pounds this month.

A new month began, but I can't stop thinking I still look the same. Yes I see changes, but I wanna be there already. I want the big change. To be one of those motivational posters before/afters. Lowering my calories this week isn't helping my mood, but it had to be done. Hungry and headachey all the time, but I endure and stay strong. I know it won't last long until I am used to the new decrease. Does anyone else just feel like they wanna be there already?? Even though you've already lost a lot?

I get the wanting to be there already - and I just got started!

Did you double check your calorie settings? Sometimes when we lose weight or change work level, then you might need more calories. Eating more calories can actually help bust the plateau.

How much did you set yourself up to lose per week? When it comes down to the little weight you want to lose, having about .5 lbs a week will be better and more sustainable.

Losing weight sucks and can be hard, but honestly it shouldn't be painful. "Hungry" and "headachey" might mean you aren't eating enough. Did you have headaches before the change? Losing weight in such a manner will make it harder to sustain and it will be so much more tempting to give in and binge and backslide.

Honestly, you could up your calories a little, still lose weight, and would feel better. Good luck!

Well I am weaning myself off caffeine along with lowering my calories so the headache part may be doing that as well. I put myself at 1 pound a week at light activity.

I definitely know how you feel.. It's like you get so close to your goal you can almost feel it yet it seems like it's taking forever to make it there.. I am kind of in the same boat. By doing some harder workouts and different ones I'm kind of hoping to shock my body and restart the weight loss. Just hang in there, you'll get it!
