hello

Hello, first time poster here. I am a 46 year old mom of 4 wonderful children. I have had the rny surgery 20 year ago. But have found myself backon the roller coaster of diets again. I am deeply struggling with losing these 65 lbs. I am glad for these postings. Many encouraging words on here.
I have been using this ap for about a month, diet changes and working out, still i have only lost 4 lbs. Very discouraged, i hope it gets better. Not ready to give in just yet.
Peace and thank you for letting me vent aww a smidge. :)

I think 4 # a month is great! averaging 1# a week is a good slow and steady pace - I've been back on MFP almost 3 weeks now and have yet to record a loss  but I have started a weight /strength training program so I firmly believe I will show a loss soon:)

    Keep up the good work!

I have been here 40 days today. I have lost 4 pounds, but I have lost 10 inches all over me.
I am 58, 5 feet tall and I need to lose 30 pounds.
I will send you a friend request with a message.

    You can do this!!!!!

I've been here for a few years off and on. Doing well and then falling off, but I have had some SUPER pals that have made all the difference. It's better to try to make it up the hill than allow yourself to roll off to rock bottom! I'd be happy to walk that path with you. Feel free to add me (and any others who would like a friend!)
