    Sometimes it is "loose," depending on what you're talking about. Since you didn't specify, I'm not sure if you're talking about losing weight or loose pants -- or something else entirely.

    When someone says they "loose" weight, I just picture them opening the gate to the corral so that their fat cells run free.
