Starting Focus T25 on Monday - history of slight sore knees

Hello all,
I am starting T25 on Monday and wanted to see how people who have sore knees cope with this. I appreciate that there are many variables of knee problems but I get stiff, sore knees after running and have been told that increasing muscle strength in my legs and around knees would help this long term. It is twisting and sharp impact that seems to do for my knees
I am looking at doing T25 as a challenge and for general fitness.
How have people found T25 to be on the knees? For those with "bad" knees that have done it how has it gone and has it helped?
There are the modifiers so I guess that might help with some of the routine, especially those with twisting movements that seem to give my knees the most problems.
Many thanks :-)

I don't have bad knees, but I can tell you that you will be using your knees in jumping moves and squats a lot. I have a bad elbow, but I have only done first 5 days. We haven't done much on our elbows except the ab workout. Good luck!!!0

T25 is pretty high impact but they generally have a lot of modifiers that allow for people with bad knees to be able to still work out.0

3 years ago I was told I had good knees for a 60 year old, I was 46 at the time. My knees are shot. Just do Tanya's modifiers, you will be fine. Form is important and so is listening to your body.
This was the post I made after completing the ten week programme

The key for me was pushing myself without being silly, you do need to listen to your body. Good luck you should enjoy it0 -
Hello. I have knee problems too. I had surgery on my left knee some time ago, and it has never been the same. Because I used my right knee to carry the slack, the right knee is not what it used to be. I have done t25 for 2 weeks now. I follow Tonya, but I do modify two specific moves due to my knees. For lunges, I do side kicks. For squats, I do kickbacks. You will still see results. I have. I hope that helps. Be blessed!0
