Yep! I really did it!!!! I am so proud of myself and cannot wait to do the next one! I think I found a new love!!!!!!

    So happy for you! Have you been to runsforcookies.com? You may get a lot from that...she lost 125lbs and started 5k's. Her story is very inspirational. Great job!

    I did my first 5k last Sunday. I had not run in months, but I was the first female back, with a time of just under 24 minutes.
    I would not say I enjoyed doing it, as suffering with COPD (lung disease), it is the hardest form of exercise for me, but the elation at not only finishing, but getting such a good time is certainly making me consider a few more next year.

    Congratulations!! I have my first 5K race on September 13 and I cannot wait for it!! I finished the C25K app and now I am just trying to work on my time! Did it in 34:04 this morning. Hope to take another couple minutes off that before September! Did you do the C25K app to get ready for yours?
