Like many feeling overwhelmed and alone

Hey my name is Renee. I am 103.8kg and want to get down to at least70kgs...... like many, just writing down my current weight makes me want to cry and crawl up in a ball and hide from the world. I signed up yesterday in the hopes to get some advice on how to loose the weight and gain a better life for myself and my son. I have signed up at a local fitness facility and will be going twice a week and doing light exercise in between classes. And the main thing I want out of this is the support of people who are going through the same thing as me, and have an understanding of the struggles I am going through. Hope to talk to you all soon. Gee, just looking around, before I introduce myself and found someone with same weight & feelings I started with.
Trying to think of what motivated me at that stage and can\t remember a thing. Everything depressing.
But- think of your previous achievements- say, in career, in school, something you've done that gave you pride.
For me, it was my kids. And I said they were worth the weight. I can always get rid of the weight- loads of people have done- and you can too.
Start sharing your achievements around, here, to friends, strangers even, all those things help.
Really.
I am down to 84kg from 100+. Motivation is Key.

I know this sounds like a stupid thing to say, but it's easier than it sounds. Trust me! and I'm not talking about lifting outrageous amounts, or running X distance a week. I am not a nutritionist, and I am not a fitness freak. What I am is a simple person who can say that I have discovered a new game in life, and that is the game of health. It's exactly what you make it. It's a game. If I eat this, and walk this far, or run X distance, or just eat this instead, I win! And I chose to be a winner, and I will be there with you to help you be a winner. Not because I have to, but because you of everybody else in the world made that decision to better yourself, and so I will be there to encourage you when you need it. Joke with you when you deserve it, and harangue you when you start to fail. So that you too will be a winner. If that sounds like a plan, then accept the request inbound, and enjoy my encouragement as well as the others on here who truly support you and want to see you succeed.0
