Define low fat please!

Hi, due to gall bladder disease I have been told to eat low fat all the time and I was wondering if there is a simple calculation e.g. food with less than ?% to know whether something really is low fat. Obviously I know lots of veg and fruit and no fried stuff but I am thinking of recipes I use, meals out etc.
Though I think I can already eat pretty low fat most days, apart from when I am having the odd treat/holiday/meal out, I have no idea what I should be aiming for eat day and I would like to set my macros to reflect this.
I have in the past tried higher fat (good fats) and lower carb but that is not to be for me for now at least.
I make most though not all my meals from scratch and I am aware of not eating fried food, full fat dairy (sigh as I love cheese) etc but for example this morning, being a Sunday, I had a roll with bacon in it. Back bacon, grilled and all the fat trimmed off (given to my dogs) so would that count or would that still be considered higher fat if I worked out the macros!
Thanks in advance for any help.
PS I am in the uk so working with UK foods.

The NHS website gives "less than 3g of total fat per 100g" as a definition for low fat.

I am unfamiliar with back bacon. Apparently it is low-ish fat.
Keep in mind that the fat can be looked at for the whole day. You could eat all your fat for the whole day in one meal as long as you did not eat any fat for the rest of the day.0 -
My mom got her gallbladder removed completely and her diet isn't too restrictive. She ate a piece of cheesecake recently and was just fine. However, as RosaRose said, you should keep your fat down for the rest of the day if you do that. Generally if you just eat healthy, you don't have to go crazy with counting fat grams. At least it has worked for her.0

I have a friend with the same problem, she keeps her fat below 25g a day but some days can get as high as 30. When she eats too much fat she can definitely tell because she feels terrible.0

Before I had my gallbladder out, I was told to keep my diet to under 25 g of fat today, and less than 7 or 8 grams of fats per meal if possible.0

25 is lower than I currently average so I wll try harder. I do like good fats so will have to watch those too I think, like coconut oil and avacardo (not together lol)0
