What type of weight training is best for energy?

This may sound like an odd question. Weight training obviously can increase energy and state of mind. I also believe you need to do some form of cardio to have energy, maybe even yoga or stretching. But in terms of just weight training, what rep range is the best for longevity and energy? Will doing high weight give you more energy or is doing high reps the best? Or is it moderate weight, moderate reps. Please share your opinion!

There is no "best" rep range for health and longevity. What works for some, doesn't work for others and there are so many other variables to consider. Proper rest, proper nutrition, proper recovery, genetics, lifestyle and work outside the gym, etc.
