I have lots of cukes coming in, some are bush cukes which I grew to make pickles. They are quite large, however, think the size you would get out of a big barrel. I tried making spears last year and they were terrible. Need some recipes/tips on turning these into pickles. Thanks in advance!

    Make half-sour pickles:

Very easy, and very good! You can also add onions and/or carrots to the jar.

Edited to add, I have made this both with and without the dill, they taste fine either way.
