26 lb goal

Today is my day 1 and I am looking for people with a similiar goal. I am 5'3 and 161. My goal weight is 130-135. I am also hoping to start training for a 5K in May and would like to beat my running time from last year! I plan to run 2-3 days a week and hit the gym 2-3 days a week for cardio and strength training.

    Hi! We have similar goals, I am 5'3" and weigh 155, my goal weight is 130! I also love running and getting out to the gym but find it challenging, working full time and being a single Mom!
  • Well I'm not as light as you but 20 to 25 pounds is what I'm shooting for. I put on weight after an injury I caused to myself after a half-marathon and a lot of decompression from a deployment in Afghanistan. I recently bought Kinetc Your Shape for Xbox and it helps keep me motivated and doing aerobics for cardio on days when I can't go run. I just got back from a two mile run at 17:50... which isn't bad considering where I am and my last tested two mile run was a full minute under that time.

    My goal is to drop at least ten pounds before mid-February, not exactly healthy but I have to get ready for a trip. After that it'll be a slow progression and maintenance towards my goal.

    While I'm taller than you, I've already lost 25 lbs and want to get around the 130lb range as my final goal. I am also a runner (my half marathon is in two weeks!!!). Add me as a friend and I'll help you along the way. Best of luck!

    Your weight loss goal is very similar to mine. I started October 18, 2010 at 153 and today I am at 136 working toward a goal of 130. This is a great site and it's so easy to keep up with calorie intake. Good luck!
