Hi,
Just started at the gym doing 6am work out with a personal trainer to loose weight for my wedding in March. when I get to work I'm shattered and cant concentrate and tried. Should I be taking a after workout shake to give me some up and go so I can last the remaining of the day
Please help

If you are having trouble recovering from a workout or concentrating then you should probably eat something. It doesnt have to be a shake though unless that is more convenient for you.
Without knowing what the rest of your diet looks like its hard to give advice though.0 -
Real food would probably do the trick. Human beings have been relying on the stuff for a long time and it's worked out pretty well so far. I suspect if you had a banana before you got to work life would be pretty grand.0

i know very little about your current routine. do you eat before the work out? do you drink coffee??
i've had shakes before. i make my own, with almond milk, chocolate protein powder, peanut butter, a banana, and some oats. delicious.
or, just eat something.0 -
Would it help to change the time of day you exercise?
I've found I'm not a morning exerciser, for the most part. If I go too hard in the morning, I'm worthless for the office.0
