Dinner is in the oven, but I'm trying hard to not eat everything in site!! I'm in an irritable mood, and tend to not care what I put in my mouth when I get frustrated. I worked hard at the gym today and I dont want to blow it! I have quite a few extra calories, but I hate using my exercise cals.

Chew some gum and wait for dinner to be done0

I know exactly what you mean. I have my dinner planned and it's easy to throw together but I've been sitting here for an hour debating whether to order a pizza.0

Deal with your frustration in a different way - punch a pillow, shower, journal. It might help even though supper is in going, keep prepping by getting the plates/tables set, do a quick load of dishes, wipe the table/counter, get out the seasonings/toppings. Make a salad?0

What's for dinner? Have a small snack if you cant wait...nuts...veg...something to give you a bit of crunch...0

Perhaps have a couple of nice big glasses of water. Then try distraction.......
Read a book, go for a walk around the garden, file your nails, anything.
But if you are seriously ravenous have something to tide you over.....veggie sticks, bit of apple and cheese.

Drink a massive glass of water. This helped me with carb cravings on the grapefruit diet.0

Eat the veggies or salad you gave planned with dinner
Have a large iced tea or coffee, decaf if you need to.
Iced coffee works for me. I sip it in a straw. By large I mean 16 ounces, with two equal and fat free half and half.0
