What did you have for dinner?

Me? I pigged out on fresh corn on the cob straight from my vegetable garden. :)

Oh my goodness it was so delicious. No butter, not even salt and pepper. It was THAT good.

I also had fresh broccoli sauteed in a smidgen of olive oil with garlic.

Not the healthiest of dinners, but just for tonight it hit the spot. Full and satisfied.

Plain baked chicken breast with some honey mustard, jasmine rice, and half a sweet potato with a little smart balance butter and salt. 820 calories, but I like my supper to be my biggest meal of the day. Something I can really tuck into. :^D

Salmon atop a big salad made with Romaine, broccoli slaw, cucumber & red grapes.

Followed up with a piece of hot homemade rhubarb pie and a couple spoonfuls of vanilla ice cream on top.

    It was so delicious!

Shrimp sautéed in a mustard and lemon pepper sauce with angel hair pasta. A slice of French bread and a glass of Chardonnay. Not very low cal but I promise I'll make veggie stir fry tomorrow, ok?

Haha, sounds good! I'm tired of the hot summer, tired of needing to water my garden. Rain would be wonderful.

Lentils topped with a fried egg and a convenience food I'm trying for the first time -- diced cooked ham; the carrot I tossed in the pot with the lentils for the last 10 minutes, so it cooked without getting mushy; a lot of cherry tomatoes; and 2 slices of "artisanal" rye bread, lightly toasted, with butter. 477 delicious, satisfying calories.

How was your dinner not healthy??

I love corn on the cob - doesn't really grow well in an English garden but eat plenty that are sourced from the shops.

Dinner for me last night was pie, .supds and veg. It may be summer over in Blighty but nothing is going to stop me from eating pie! :glasses:
