    one plate overhead press
    two plate bench
    three plate squat
    four plate deadlift

For those not in the know...

    1 plate = 135 lbs / 60kg
    2 plate = 225 lbs / 100kg
    3 plate = 315 lbs / 140kg
    4 plate = 405 lbs / 180kg

For everyone who has a triathlon on their bucket list, just do it! Best thing I ever did.

Make sure you're kicking from your hips and unless you're swimming for speed don't worry about kicking much, try using a pull buouy to get used to not kicking

See breaststroke I'm so comfortable with. I can swim just arms, just legs without any buoyancy aids, my body is just comfortable floating... But get me in front crawl and all my bum and legs want to do is sink. I'm sure it's down to me over thinking it. And I *think* I kick from the hips. (I'm a diver, and I definitely have good finning technique when I have a pair of fins on!). I think when I get back in a pool properly (ie not during the school hols where I'm doing aquacise) I'll get a float and use that for buoyancy whilst I isolate and develop my crawl. :) hopefully I remember enough from swimming lessons as a kid, and if not I have a friend who said she'll help. :) I can't wait to come back and say I've done it!!

I thought I would add to my list what I've already accomplished on my list.
Mine are (not in any order):
    - Thru-hike the Appalachian Trail.
    - Mountain Bike the new 480 mile Virginia mountain bike trail (not named yet).
    - Complete an Ironman.
    - Bike across the country.
    - Run a 10k -done, under 60 min -done, under 50 min - done
    - Complete a tri -done, Olympic distance -done, Half Ironman - done
    - Marathon -done, under 4 hours -not done

I also want to say WOW to all of the things people have on their bucket lists. It's cool to see all of the goals people have set out for themselves. I love the variety too. I wish you all luck in filling your bucket.

No running or lifting goals for me, but I do have goals!

Get my belly dance back to where it was before I quit a few years ago.

Do the 108 sun salutations yoga ritual at a solstice without hurting myself. (I could probably do it now, but the next day would involve prescription pain medication because I'd really be pushing my shoulders.)

Achieve some of those crazy "cover of Yoga Journal" balance poses.

Do some serious hiking in the White Mountains--and carry my own pack.

Hike at Glacier National Park and Yellowstone.
